# 燕山大学硕士学位论文 LaTeX 模板

### LaTeX 是什么？

简单的说，[LaTeX](http://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/LaTeX?ref=yinguobing.com) 是用来排版高质量文档的计算机语言。它起源于 TeX，由美国计算机科学家 Leslie Lamport 在 20 世纪 80 年代初期开发。

### 既然是用来排版，那它与 Word 有什么不同？

如果要用一句话概括 Word 与 LaTeX 之间的区别，可以这么说： Word 更关注你文章的样式，而 LaTeX 专注于你文章的逻辑结构。严格的说，Word 是字处理程序，与 LaTeX 相似的软件是 Microsoft Office 系列当中的 Publisher，或者 Adobe 公司的 Indesign。

### 为什么要使用 LaTeX？

LaTeX 专注于科技与数学类文章的排版，使用它排版可以极大地提升效率。文章越长，涉及交叉引用的地方越多，效果越明显。

举一个例子：在 Word 中输入公式时要求对公式编号，同时公式应当居中。在 Word 中你会怎么办？如何保证公式居中，而让公式编号右对齐？用空格填充能保证公式一定居中吗？如果我有上百个公式，想在文章最开始增加一个公式，那 100 个公式的编号都要手动调整吗？

同样地问题也出现在参考文献中：如何区分作者的名与姓？哪个缩写？哪个不缩写？哪些词需要首字母大写？这篇期刊的缩写是啥？文章的年、卷、期和页码是多少？添加、删除参考文献后，文献的编号全乱了，该怎么办？

这些问题在 LaTeX 中不需要你来费心。LaTeX 更像一位私人秘书，你用“命令”告诉他原始的资料，它会替你整理好并放在你文章中合适的地方。你也许会好奇它是怎么办到的——这归功于背后默默无闻的宏包开发者与模板作者。

其次，以上问题使用 Mathtype 和 Endnote 可以解决——不过他们与 Microsoft Word 一样属于商业软件，需要付费购买使用。

最后，我认为，需要经常撰写学术论文的研究生应当掌握 LaTeX 这一个强大的宏语言。LaTeX 入门不需要太长的时间，尤其是你只是用它来编译一篇论文的话。但是要精通的话可就要花费不少功夫了。幸运的是我们只是用它来编译一下自己的学位论文。

### YSUThesis是什么

YSUThesis是“[燕山大学硕士学位论文 LaTeX 模板](https://github.com/yinguobing/YSUthesis?ref=yinguobing.com)”的缩写。最新版的 YSUhtesis 完全符合燕山大学 2011 年 9 月发布的最新学位论文撰写规范。

### YSUthesis的意义

学位论文对排版格式有着严格且琐碎的要求。字体字号、对齐方式、题图图注、公式编号、文献引用、物理符号、名称缩写等等。本模板意在将论文作者从这些繁琐的任务中解放出来，以便作者将精力投入在论文的内容上。

### 使用YSUThesis收费吗

YSUThesis是免费的。我制作该模板完全出于对 LaTeX 的好奇与热爱。需要注意的是，燕山大学研究生院并**没有以任何形式发布过LaTeX模板**，这意味着如果您要使用本模板来完成学位论文，请先咨询您所在的学院是否接受该种形式的电子文稿。
